ADHD care in Delhi and online
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects attention, activity and impulse control. It usually begins in childhood and often continues into adult life, where it can show up as disorganisation, missed deadlines and restlessness.
With the right assessment and support, children and adults with ADHD can do well at school, at work and at home.
Common signs
- Finding it hard to stay focused, or getting distracted easily
- Losing things and forgetting everyday tasks
- Trouble organising work and finishing what you start
- Restlessness, fidgeting or always being on the go
- Acting or speaking without thinking
- Difficulties at school or work despite real effort
When to see a psychiatrist
See a psychiatrist if attention or restlessness is causing problems at school, at work or at home, and has been there for a long time rather than only during a stressful phase.
